Fashion Design Assistant

Seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Design Assistant to support the design and development of contemporary, sustainable collections. This role is ideal for someone passionate about modern fashion, fabric innovation, and ethical design practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing fashion concepts, sketches, and design boards
Support the creation of seasonal collections from concept to production
Research fashion trends, fabrics, textures, and sustainable materials
Help prepare technical drawings and garment specifications
Assist in fittings, sample reviews, and design adjustments
Collaborate with pattern makers and production teams
Organize fabric samples, trims, and design archives
Support runway and photoshoot preparation

Required Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or related field
Strong understanding of garment construction and design principles
Basic sketching and illustration skills (manual or digital)
Knowledge of fabrics, textures, and sustainable materials
Strong attention to detail and creativity
Ability to work in a fast-paced studio environment

Preferred Skills:

Experience or internship in a fashion studio or brand
Familiarity with design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
Interest in sustainable and ethical fashion practices
